PEGASUS DUX (2016/2017)
Uwakmfon Joseph Utuk is a goldfish that has no hiding place. The gentle, soft-spoken and unassuming academic colossus has drawn national and international attention. In the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), he emerged one of the best in the country with a score of 349/400.
He went ahead to conquer WAEC with a wonderful result in the WASSCE examination and crowned it with an unprecedented International General Certificate for Secondary Education (IGCSE) result of A* in all his subjects. He also received the British Council Cambridge Award for Country best in Further Mathematics and World best in Mathematics with a score of 100% in Mathematics in the May/June 2017 IGCSE Exam series.
In recognition of this outstanding performance, the Nile University of Nigeria, Abuja, offered him a full tuition scholarship to study Electrical Electronics Engineering.
The Board of Trustees, under the Chairmanship of Idotenyin Isaac approved a yearly grant of two hundred and fifty thousand naira only, towards his living expenses for the period of four years.
